Bupati Barru Ir. H. Suardi Saleh, M.Si, membuka secara langsung Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka Kabupaten Barru berlangsung di Baruga Singkerru Ada’e Senin, 1 Agustus 2022 yang diikuti siswa/siswi tingkat SMA sederajat.
Dalam sambutan Bupati menyampaikan bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten Barru sangat mengapresiasi dan memberikan penghargaan atas prestasi dari para peserta yang telah berhasil terpilih untuk mengemban tugas mulia ini.
Sebelum melangkah lebih beliau tetap mengingatkan bahwa pandemi covid-19 belum berakhir betul, kita tetap harus waspada terutama anak- anak paskibraka karena kedepan akan menjadi contoh dan menjadi teladan. semua pasti berkeinginan untuk menjadi paskibraka ( Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka) untuk itu jangan sia siakan termasuk mengikuti pelatihan, bimbingan, arahan dari struktur, arahan dari pelatih. Buat sekolah kalian bangga, buat kami kami bangga, buat orang tua kalian bangga karena berhasil mengibarkan Bendera secara sempurna begitu juga menurunkan bendera di sore harinya secara sempurna, tentunya semua akan terlaksana jika mengikuti kegiatan sebaik baiknya,se disiplin – disiplinya,”ungkapnya”
Lebih lanjut, Suardi Saleh mengatakan apa yang kita lakukan saat ini masih jauh dari pada yang diperjuangkan, yang di korbankan pada pendahulu-pendahulu kita mereka berjuang mengorbankan jiwa,darah,keluarga, harta benda semuanya. Kita tidak lagi berada pada masa itu, kita tidak mengorbankan jiwa tapi yang kita lawan sekarang adalah hasrat, kemauan, nafsu terutama atas pengaruh pengaruh negatif budaya luar yang sekarang dengan gampang masuk dengan media sosial apa yang terjadi di luar sana.
Harapannya, semua mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan seperti pada hari ini dan kegiatan fisik. “Jangan takut hitam terutama perempuan, kecantikan itu bukan dari luar melainkan dari dalam.kalau dalamnya cantik pasti akan terpancar.
