“Alhamdulillah, ini patut disyukuri, sebab menjadi kinerja bersama dalam menyusun proposal dan kebersamaan dalam memberikan presentasi Proposal Investment Project Ready to Offer (IPRO) SSIC 2021, Semoga Piagam Penghargaan ini menjadi dasar untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri publik dalam bersama memulihkan ekonomi pasca pandemi Covid-19 dan menyiapkan diri menerima calon investor dalam dan luar negeri, di Barru,” ujar Bupati Barru.
Bupati Barru yang beberapa waktu sebelumnya menjadi penyaji proposal investasi yang mengambil industri galangan kapal sebagai core bisnis untuk tujuan investasi masa depan di Barru, telah memukau penilai yang terdiri dari Pakar dan Tokoh Ekonomi Kaliber Nasional.
“Kini, Barru sebagai Daerah dengan anugerah alam yang strategis dengan pelabuhan, galangan kapal, dan aktivitas ekonomi berbasis jasa kepelabuhanan, akan dipromosikan bukan saja oleh Pemprov, tapi juga oleh BI dan semua stakeholder yang tergabung di Pinisi Sultan, dipromosikan dalam kampanye ke investor dalam dan luar negeri, insya Allah,” tuturnya.
Dari 8 Daerah yang diplot menjadi Top Eight, Barru disebut setelah Kota Pare-pare dan Pemkab Luwu Utara, sedangkan Pemerintah daerah yang masuk delapan besar di antaranya Bantaeng, Enrekang, Jeneponto, Selayar, dan Wajo.
