“Nota kesepahaman ini bertujuan untuk menjalin kerjasama antar Pemerintah Kabupaten Barru dengan Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare dan Institut Ilmu Sosial dan Bisnis Andi Sapada Parepare dalam Bidang Pendidikan, Penelitian, Pengabdian masyarakat, Pengkajian dan Pelatihan untuk peningkatan dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta sumber daya manusia di Kabupaten Barru,” sebut Kepala Daerah yang dikenal memiliki banyak kolega di Kalangan intelektual akademis ini.
