Barru – Bupati Barru Ir. H.Suardi Saleh, M.Si Membuka acara Musyawarah Tudang Sipulung Tingkat Kabupaten Barru Musim Tanam ( MT ) 2021/2022 dan Musim Tanam ( MT ) 2022 di Lantai 6 Tower Kantor Bupati Barru, Selasa 23 /11/2021.
Dalam Sambutannya, Bupati Barru H. Suardi Saleh, Mengatakan Musyawarah Tudang Sipulung memiliki arti dan makna yang cukup strategis karna bertujuan dan berfungsi mempertemukan usulan dari para petani serta usulan dari pemerintah dalam rangka mewujudkan rumusan pola tanaman yang produktif, efektif, efisien yang berdampak pada peningkatan produksi dan produktivitas pertanian.
Tudang sipulung ini merupakan wadah pengambilan keputusan tertinggi untuk melahirkan kesepakatan untuk dipatuhi dan dilaksanakan agar petani dalam bertani lebih menjadi terarah” ucap suardi saleh
“Belakangan ini pembangunan pertanian di Barru mengalami kemajuan yang signifikan khususnya sektor tanaman pangan bahkan Kementrian RI menilai bahwa Barru memiliki potensi yang strategis dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional, ” jelasnya.
Bupati Barru memaparkan bahwa angka ramalan III 2021 jumlah produksi padi sebanyak 135.955 Ton dengan produksivitas 61,72 Kw/ha dengan realisai pemahaman seluas 24.032 Ha.
Bila dibandingkan produksi pada 2020 produksi padi sebanyak 132.097 Ton dengan produktivitas 61,08 Kw/ha, meka itu mengalami peningkatan produksi sebesar 2,27% dan produktivitas sebesar 1,05%.
“Agar produksi hasil pertanian semakin meningkat maka salah satu upaya kita adalah meningkatkan luas panen melalui peningkatan indek pertanaman,” tandasnya.
- Suardi Saleh mengungkapkan Barru memiliki lahan sawah seluas 15.07 Ha yang terdiri sawah irigasi seluas 5.699 ha dan sawah tadah hujan seluas 10.004 ha dengan realisai indeks pertanaman untuk irigasi ( IP-100 ) 25,65% ( IP-200 ) 36,19% dan (IP-300) 0,80%.
“Alhamdulillah pada acara Tudang Sipulung ini kita akan memberikan support kepada kelompok tani berupa alat pertanian yang memperoleh IP-300 kepada 10 kelompok tani serta penghargaan kepada penyuluh pertanian yang berprestasi.” ungkapnya.
“Pemerintah telah memberikan bantuan yang sifatnya stimulus dan menyiapkan berbagai sarana pertanian untuk mendukung produktivitas. Olehnya itu saya berharap jangan biarkan ada lahan yang kosong terutama daerah-daerah lahan sawah yang dapat di produktifkan,” Harap Suardi Saleh.
